Mr Squirrel is back with friends!

The backyard is full of life right now. Mr. Squirrel has brought a freind who is a bit camera shy. Ran off just as soon as I opened the back door. They have eaten all the seeds out of the one sunflower and now working on the other.

I have also been puttin gout bird seed and the birds are coming in flocks. It is fun looking out the back window. I enjoy watching them come and go.

There was two on the feeder then a third came and the fight began. It was fun watching them jockey for position.

Santa

ELK and Mom went and visited with Santa a few Sundays ago at Inland Octopus Toys.
ADK would not join us because he is to "OLD" to visit Santa.

Mr Squirrel

This morning as I was washing the dishes I saw Mr Squirrel climbing up the sun flowers that are still out by the yard shed.

It was fun watching him climb up the stock and jump over to the head of the sunflower. He would swing back and forth for a while eating the seeds.

Christmas Program at Church

I'm so discouraged. We have traveled so far following this magnificent star. This star is quite the phenomenon. It has piqued my interest for days. It appeared from nowhere and is unlike any star I've ever seen. The star appears to be moving toward something. This must be the "Siggn" that the King of the Jews has been born as prophesied in the books of Jewish lay! I wonder. My astrologers are also curious as to its existence. This star has the attention of many. Even King Herod is curious. He wants us to return to Jerusalem after we find the birthplace of the King. How could he know? What is he up to? Why is he interested all of a sudden?
This caravan of kins is taking forever to travel. The Kings from lands afar are very weathly and have brought everything with them. All their herdsman, animals, tents and experts in astrology to study this unusual star. The kings are as curious as I am.
I'm so glad that the other kings took my suggestion to bring their special gift for the King. Gold is my gift. It should help the family's financial situation and give them money to raise the lad.
Frankincense and myrrh are great gifts also. These perfumes are very expensive. How unusual that they are both used as funeral spices. Is this of significance? Only time will tell.

The main reason Jesus came into this world was to give us life and light. "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life" (John 8:12)
The lights from the angel, the stable and the wise king are reminders that all lights lead to Christ. He is our only source of light. We cannot live without it. We cannot live without Him. We are sometimes wrapped up in all the chaos of "lights" at Christmas. We see lights on trees inside and outside, special lights in stores that grab our attention and even the lights in faces of friends and children as this season is so special that it only cmoes once a year. Take these "lights" tonight and focus on Jesus, not as a baby, but as your Savior who came to YOU and I may have life.
So today as you see the flickering lights of the canles, as you take part of His body and His blood, remeber this light shines in you also. May you be truly blessed by His light this Christmas and always.

Where's ELK?

Have you ever looked at a Where's Waldo Book?
Where's ELK? Clue he is wearing a tie.

Does this help looking at a closer photo?

There he is.....in the middle row. He is really getting into wearing ties.
