It was a beautiful overcast day. The rain had stopped by the time we made it to the falls so we decided to walk to the top. They boys did not remember walking to the top before. (We walked tot he top about 4 years ago with Rick)
ELK pointing out the switch back markers. The marker say switchback 4 of 11. Trail markers said the trail to the top of the falls was 1 mile.
ADK was goofing around and did a bit of walking on his hands up hill on the trial. Crazy kid.
He only made it a few feet.
ELK spotted this mushroom growing along side the trail at a base of a tree.
ELK and Mom walking up the trail.
The hike ended up to be more that 11 switchbacks like to sign posted were telling us and also a little over 1 1/4 miles to the top.
We decided to take a few senior pictures. Wish we planned ahead and had different top on. But it was fun taking photos of ADK.
Once we got to this bridge ADK remember the walk we did and also finding the geocache that is located a further up the trail.
This is a small falls located at the top of Multnomah Falls.
At the end of our hike we treated our selves to an ice cream cone.
